Home Gallery and Art Exhibitions in Estonia
Our Home Gallery – Raija Merilä Kodugalerii – is located in the middle of Estonia, in Paide. We have about 1.000 artworks, most of them by Raija Merilä, but also from other artist from Estonia, Finland, Russia etc. We have also Ilkka Porkka’s art framing studio – the only one in Central Estonia.

We arrange art exhibitions all over Estonia, and many times in Finland, as well. Our Home Gallery is the basement for our effort and proof to our customers, that we are real persons with a permanent address and possibilities to visit and watch to our art collection every single day.
Home Gallery in Paide – open every day
Raija Merilä has painted for over 50 years and made drawings for over 70 years. She is also author of three books. She made her career as a teacher of Finnish language and history. She founded her first art gallery 23 years ago with Ilkka Porkka in Kotka, Finland. Now they have been running Raija Merilä Kodugalerii in Paide, Estonia, for over eight years. They were both born in Finland in 1952, but got Estonian citizenship in 2023.

In 2026 Raija Merilä has had already six solo exhibitions: four in Estonia ja two in Finland.

We just started to build this web site. We will soon publish also our Online Shop with tens or hundreds artworks of Raija Merilä and other artists.
Inspired and Emotional Art Collection
Our Home Gallery is full of artworks. We have an apartment of 266 m2 in three stocks. All walls are covered with paintings, graphics etc. Worth to see!
All of Our Artworks Are for Sale
Every piece of art in our collection has also a price. You can also order portraits, landscapes etc. from Raija, but for most visitors there are enough possibilities you can choose from.
Over 300 Artworks Outside the Gallery
This year we had over 150 paintings of Raija Merilä at exhibitions outside of our gallery in Estonia and Finland. Besides of that we have all over the year over 70 artworks from our collection at Emmeliine Kohvik (Väike-Aia 20, Paide, Estonia) and about 35 artworks at Valgma Külamaja (Paide, Estonia).
